Call for Nominations: Nsedu Obot Witherspoon (NOW) Youth Leadership Award

The Children's Environmental Health Network (CEHN) is excited to announce a call for nominations of youth to receive the 2015 Nsedu Obot Witherspoon (NOW) Youth Leadership Award. We are seeking nominations from non-family members for this award that honors youths for their exceptional environmental leadership, commitment to environmental health, participation in community action, and leadership skills. Youth ages 12-18 in middle and high school are eligible for this special honor. The nomination form is available at http://www.cehn.org/NOWaward.

The nomination form and more information about the award can be found here: http://www.cehn.org/NOWaward, as well as a list of previous awardees<http://www.cehn.org/archives/Advocate%20Honorees>. Nominations will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on June 30, 2015.

This year's awards will be presented at the CEHN 10th Annual Child Health Advocate Award Reception which honors child health advocates within science, policy, community health, and media, who are advancing the protection of children from environmental hazards. The awards event will be held in Washington, D.C., this October 2015.
