The Standby Rate Estimator and Standby Rate Manual are used in conjunction to help businesses analyze the energy bill impacts of deploying an onsite CHP system. CHP which utilizes both the heat and electric power output from small generation systems situated on an energy user's premises dramatically improves energy and environmental performance over traditional electricity supply approaches consisting of central station generating plants and transmission and distribution systems.
