ATEEC was among the first of the National Science Foundation's ATE Centers. The ATE program was created in 1994 to improve and expand educational programs that prepare skilled technicians to work in the high-tech fields that drive the U.S. economy. Each ATE Center specializes in a particular area of technology. More on the individual ATE Centers' areas of concentration can be found at ATE Impact.
ATEEC, pronounced "ay-tek," stands for the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center. Located in Davenport, IA, we are a National Center of Excellence.
